A picturesque elopement spot in the mountains of North Carolina has to be at The Swag, a private bed and breakfast located in Waynesville. This romantic escape, located 5,000 feet above the busy world below, was right where Travis and Lauren wanted to say their intimate “I dos.” With an inspiring location, it just took a few small additions to make the event complete. A bouquet from Four Seasons Florist, a minister, a set of rings, and the lovely couple all combined for a gorgeous day, complete with the escaping fog and the scattering of colorful leaves.

From JoPhoto… Travis and Lauren’s wedding at The Swag in Waynesville, North Carolina, was a gorgeous intimate fall wedding. This sweet couple is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and they traveled to the private mountain bed and breakfast for their planned elopement.

This gorgeous earthy and intimate wedding was on a cool fall afternoon. It rained earlier in the day, and then it cleared up moments before their ceremony. Right before they kissed at the end of the ceremony, a huge gust of wind drifted by and all of the trees swayed and orange and yellow leaves floated to the ground.

Known for it’s breathtaking mountain views, the rain held off long enough for us to go to Gooseberry Knob for panoramic views. We were 5,000 feet in elevation, and the fog lifted enough so we could see the sun peeping through the clouds and beaming onto the mountains.

Lauren’s bouquet was by Four Seasons Florist in Waynesville, and her gown was by Martina Liana.
