Charleston South Carolina Bridals
Southern bride Hailey chose Daniel Island, located in historic Charleston, South Carolina, as the place to take her bridal portraits. Her photographer wanted to capture a film-like look with a digital camera so she relied on the warmth of the gentle South Carolina sun to produce the airy quality she wanted. The results were splendid. Hailey wore a strapless ball gown with a sweetheart neckline, ruched waist, and pockets from the Gown Boutique of Charleston. She added a little sass to her look with a pair of gold peep-toe Kate Spade heels
She stuck to pearl accessories for her bridal look. A bracelet, stud earrings, and a statement necklace helped to complete her classic style.
Daniel Island is verdant, lush, and full of greenery. From the hanging Spanish moss to the luxuriant grounds, there was never a shortage of vivid backdrops.
Hailey laughed and twirled her way through the shoot, proving that you don’t have to be serious all the time to get a special photo.
Hailey’s look truly transformed when she put on her veil and held her bouquet. The arrangement, from WildFlowers, Inc., was made with classic white flowers and assorted greenery
Her long veil was the perfect accessory for her low updo hairstyle. It gave her that finishing touch she needed and captured the late afternoon sunlight exquisitely.
Traveling from spot to spot, Hailey paused in front of an historic building. Like many in Charleston, its shutters and brick are reminders of the past. And Hailey is a bright affirmation for what the future can hold.
Her last stop was near the water. The famous Arthur Ravenel, Jr., Bridge can be seen in the background as she holds tight to her bouquet in solemn fashion.
Hailey is now a married woman but she has an amazing collection of bridal portraits to look back on. Before the flurry of wedding day activity, it was simply a time to be. And as a bride, that’s something you should always make time for.
