Nashville North Carolina Wedding
In Nashville – North Carolina, of course – there’s a venue steeped in old Southern charm called the Rose Hill Plantation. This picturesque estate features an 18th-century manor house and is listed on the Historic Register of Deeds. The relaxed atmosphere, refinement, and first-class amenities were exactly what Sallie and Charles were looking for on their special day. The two met under quite scary circumstances. As Sallie was enjoying a day at the river with her friends, a nearby man fell and needed help, to which Charlie, a freshly-minted EMT sprang into action to save the day. The rest, as they say, is history.
A Southern Soiree helped them to plan an incredibly gorgeous and bright wedding at the classic venue.
Sallie wore a sweet A-line gown with lace details around the neckline. Her hair featured a darling braid at the front while the rest of her long brown locks hung down under a veil. She carried a brightly colored bouquet, which enlivened the day forecasted to be a washout.
Charlie, dressed in a gray suit with a brown bow tie, met with his bride before the ceremony. The groom held hands with his bride around a corner and exchanged letters.
The bridesmaids all looked radiant in short bright blue dresses and gold shoes. Even the flower girls couldn’t contain their excitement.
Charlie and his groomsmen certainly made a handsome bunch. Every guy was dressed similarly to Charlie, except they all wore bright blue bow ties.
After a couple of photos of the bride and groom, the entire gang gathered on the surprise fire engine Sallie’s family supplied as the getaway car.
The raining weather didn’t stop the couple from having a warm and luminous ceremony. Inside, the ceremony space was fashioned around the fireplace, which was decorated with an abundant array of flowers and greenery. It was truly a splendid scene.
Sallie was escorted down the aisle to her awaiting groom and the two exchanged vows in front of family and friends.
They sealed their vows with an emotional kiss and couldn’t wait to be pronounced husband and wife.
After the ceremony, guests mingled in the Great Room for cocktail hour.
The reception took place in Nathan Hall, a gorgeous ballroom that was outfitted with colorful florals, lace fabrics, and rustic décor.
Decorated with wooden slabs, baby’s breath, and candlelight, the charming dessert table offered guests an assortment of treats.
Sallie switched up her look for her first dance with Charlie. She removed her veil, pinned up her hair, and added a floral hairpiece - perfect for gliding around the room.
There wasn’t a shortage of fun at the reception as guests danced the night away.
While the guys rolled up their slacks for a laugh, the ladies didn’t waste the chance to catch the bride’s bouquet.
As the couple made their way out, guests lined the driveway amid a glow of sparklers. Sallie even changed into a short white dress to make her exit.
