Magnolia Plantation Spring Wedding
Magnolia Plantation spring wedding This classy spring wedding at Magnolia Plantation Carriage House will leave you breathless! Cambron and Elliott’s wedding was on March 26, 2016, and the gardens at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston were overflowing with the most gorgeous pink and orange blooms! Cambron’s wedding gown was blush pink with a white lace overlay, and it was the perfect gown for their spring garden wedding! We were so excited to be a part of this very sweet couple’s wedding day full of southern charm and traditions! Cambron is from Kentucky and Elliott is from Charleston, so in true Southern fashion, they buried a bottle of bourbon at the ceremony site one month before their wedding. According to Southern Weddings, “Southern folklore says that if you bury a bottle of bourbon at the site where the bride and groom are to be married, then it won’t rain on their wedding day. According to many believers, this must be done exactly one month before the wedding, the bottle must be completely full and it must be buried upside down in order for it to keep the rain away.”Although it did rain the morning of their wedding, it did not rain during their first look or their ceremony! Moments before the ceremony, Cambron and Elliott gave their parent’s handkerchiefs with personalized messages on them. They were the perfect gifts, and so thoughtful! Wedding guests arrived with colorful umbrellas, and as the minister was speaking to the guests, there was a loud rumble of thunder off in the distance. But it held off until the end of the ceremony, and everyone had a blast at the reception!Their wedding coordinator was Ashley with Posh Petals & Pearls, hair and makeup was by Studio M, and the groom and groomsmen had hot shaves at Old South Barber Spa. Catering, lighting, rentals, and flowers were by Duvall Events. Their wedding cake was by Wildflower Pastry. The live band, Young Sol, rocked the reception!
