The Fearrington Barn Wedding
The Fearrington House in Pittsboro, North Carolina, served as the venue for Lauren and Craig’s wedding and it was certainly a Carolina dream come true. Lauren first met Craig on the sandy beaches of Emerald Isle. And it was there five years later, to the day, that he got down on one knee to propose. Their wedding day was radiant. Lauren wore a strapless ball gown with clean lines and a beaded embellishment at the waist.
Her accessories sparkled just as much as she did.
Her bouquet was lustrous with white roses, white hydrangea, and white lilies, a creation designed by Mary Stevens. Her dress, bouquet and sophisticated style brought the venue’s elegance to life.
The couple chose to have a first look moment before the ceremony and Krystal Kast Photographers was there to capture it all on camera. Craig, who wore a gray three-piece suit, had a priceless reaction to his bride.
They took several photos around the property and enjoyed every second with sweet and affectionate interactions.
The bridesmaids wore long red dresses and the groomsmen wore gray suits and red ties. They all gathered together with the bride and groom for last minute photos before the ceremony began.
The couple used the Fearrington Barn for their celebration and Gilda McDaniel helped them plan a most wonderful wedding. String lights welcomed guests inside and Fearrington provided the catering and cake for the splendid event.
The bride and groom couldn’t contain their excitement as they entered the barn to celebrate with friends and family.
They enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife to the tunes of local band, Right to Party. Craig didn’t waste the chance to dip his bride on the dancefloor.
Guests were seated at reception tables around the perimeter of the room. Craig and Lauren sat at a head table near the dance floor, in charming white chairs complete with “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs hanging from the back.
At night, the barn was illuminous with light from all sides. The delicate string lights glowed in the darkness for a romantic ambiance.
The couple had one last dip as they exited the reception. Guests were lined on both sides with sparklers in hand to wish the couple well.
It’s no surprise that Lauren and Craig flocked to Fearrington House for their big day. Many couples will find that its elegance and convenience are just the start for what promises to be a truly special affair.
