Southern Romance Wedding
Southern Romance Wedding. The 1920s meets 2020 at a historical venue in Anderson, South Carolina. We wanted this shoot to really highlight the style of the house and create an intimate wedding to inspire Spring 2020 trends with a nod to the romantic glam of the 1920s. Using soft pinks, grays, silver, and gold, we gave the parlor a light color palette and used velvet linens and textured florals to create the luxury experienced in the 1920s. One of our favorite shots is the groom toasting with a coupe glass, which was a recreation of Leonardo DiCaprio's iconic shot in The Great Gatsby. We had him hold his bride tight for another take on the shot because we felt that it added to the idea of a man who has it all.
The Marshall Orr House, also known as "Little Arlington", was built in 1883 and was a private home until 1973 when it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
