Shelby NC Wedding
The couple had their first date at the movies where they saw the original Toy Story. Ironically, Toy Story 4 was being released the same weekend as their wedding! To honor the beginning of their love story, Morgan and Jack incorporated something from the movie – you’ll have to scroll through to find out!
When I arrived at the venue, I was pretty concerned about the weather. Dark clouds were rolling in and we were continuously watching a huge storm drift across the radar. When the hurricane-like storm moved in, the call was made to move the ceremony indoors.
However, the storm surge didn’t dampen Morgan and Jack’s mood. They were all smiles and you could feel the love flowing around the venue. After squeezing in a few shots of the groomsmen before the storm, we made our way back to the groom’s quarters and it was time for him to read his love letter from Morgan. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room as we witnessed his reaction to her letter!
After getting Morgan into her gorgeous lace gown, she read her love letter from Jack. Around this time, the rain stopped and the clouds parted. It was truly one of the most beautiful evenings and we were able to do all of their portraits outside. From the lush green vineyard to the spectacular gardens and mountain views, it was perfection!
