John and Maggie met their first year of college in Alabama in 2007. He then deployed to Iraq, leaving Maggie and school. They remained friends but reconnected in 2012 as he was helping his best friend move to North Carolina. They stopped in Colorado where Maggie was attending Colorado State University. After that night, they became inseparable! She followed him to Alabama and Alaska (all thanks to the U.S. Army!). She summed it up by saying he is her absolute best friend.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Painted Pony Vineyard...it was the perfect setting for this fun and romantic couple. We arrived to the venue with clear skies and 84 degrees...the perfect day! Maggie was relaxed yet excited...ready to share her vows amidst family, friends, and God. The day was full of laughs, a few tears, and lots of love...not to mention the couple had Sunset Slush's Italian Ice...a treat that made the day even more perfect.
