Renaissance Hotel Charlotte Wedding.

Robert and Ashia were both students at Wingate University when they met in September 2010 through introduction by a mutual friend. Prior to meeting, the two routinely saw each other in passing and at sporting events. Robert was on the basketball team and Ashia was a cheerleader. Initially, Robert and Ashia would hang out occasionally, but they quickly grew to become best friends. Robert would "subtly" drop hints that he was interested in pursuing a deeper relationship. After a year of nurturing their friendship, Robert and Ashia finally made it official.

Ashia and Robert tied the knot on May 6, 2018 at Renaissance Hotel in Charlotte, NC followed by their beautiful reception at Cafe Monte in the Ballantyne area! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Carpenter.
