When I booked this wedding, I knew it was going to be absolutely fabulous! The classic Pinehurst Country Club was the perfect spot for these two. Shelbey vacationed in Pinehurst with her family for years so it holds a special place in her heart. This winter has been very mild...so mild that the tulips, which are usually in bloom next month, were so beautiful and covered the country club. It was a bright but chilly day. The day started at the historic Carolina Hotel with mimosas with Shelbey's best friends and family! We were able to take a few images in front of Pinehurst Resorts sweet trollies prior to one of the best groom reactions to a first look! He was so surprised and yelled. Tiffany and I had to laugh at that one.

Surrounded by their family and friends overlooking Pinehurst #2, they pledged to be each other’s person for the rest of their life. Shelbey's grandmother walked her down the aisle and it was perfect. It was pretty cold, but Shelbey was such a trooper. She allowed me to keep her out in the cold for some beautiful sunset pictures. How amazing is that!? I love this sweet couple. I can’t explain how much of an honor it is to photograph such wonderful couples such as Michael and Shelbey!!
