North Carolina Family Session.

If this family is not the cutest set of people I have ever seen I don't know who is. Brittany has contacted me was and going back and forth on the idea of an in-home lifestyle session and a family session in the mountains of North Carolina. When I heard that I jumped at the chance to offer her this intimate in-home session. We all know that families love the unfiltered "real" moments of their lives, but we also know that people have the tendency to love the "pretty things" too. I like to think that in-home sessions are a great mix of both of those things. They show these raw moments of what your life is really like, all while showing off the prettiness of the simplistic life we all live. I think this gallery is a great representation of that. Looking through these images you may not know that we had to bribe their son, Finn, with three bananas and sesame street to get him to stop crying because he was so exhausted. ( that's on us, we booked these the same day as daylight savings) so we managed to capture the pretty moments throughout the day, all while capturing the real moments too, the time where mom and dad needed a coffee to make it through, and the mess of flour that was all worth it to help Finn giggle. To everyone that is considering letting a photographer into their homes, I hope they see the images and it puts their worries to rest, that no matter what you will get the pretty and the real and that they are every bit worth it.
