New Bern NC Wedding. Camry and Eric's wedding day was a gorgeous affair full of Southern Charm and a genteel spirit. Camry was the essence of a classy southern lady, and her groom was equally enchanting. The two did the entire wedding on a budget of $13,000 and no one would have ever guessed!Camry writes: We wanted our wedding day first and foremost to worship God and His faithfulness and for it to be celebration with our family and friends. We both come from wonderful close families and wanted to thank them for their love and support. They all worked so hard to help us prepare for our wedding day. My bridesmaids and I made the bouquets, my aunts and I made the boutonnieres, and two family friends did the centerpieces. We had a generous team of family and friends willing to give their time to help me. One very special effort was that of my grandmother who knitted my garter in Eric and mine's school colors (NC State). The day was simply perfect, better than we hoped for, from beginning to end. We wanted a traditional southern wedding that reflected our personalities. It was simple but still had a lot of elegance. The colors and decorations we used were to complement the plantation's beauty. The morning was so relaxed and calm, and once the ceremony started and everyone was together the day just filled with joy and love. The reception was great; we were able to speak with all our guest and loved dancing the night away.
