This past Saturday, April 7, I had the honor of capturing the beautiful wedding day of Stephen & Morgan at the Kaminski House Museum in Georgetown, SC. A day filled with beautiful sunshine was quickly replaced with overcast skies and unfortunately, downpours of rain. As with all of my couples, my heart breaks when rain puts a damper on what they spent months planning, but especially so when the ceremony is to be outdoors. Even though the rain isn’t ideal, the show must go on, and Morgan & Stephen’s day turned out nothing short of beautiful. Great friends and loving family brought the sunshine with their unwavering support and proving to be flexible. These same people treated me so kindly and were the best of sports when it came to making the most of portraits in the rain.
