Dec 10 Kaminski House Nature Wedding

Q: Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette? Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?

A: Nature was at the forefront of the design of the wedding. From picking the venue, to the floral arrangements, to the subtle colors, I wanted the beautiful scenery to be what lingered in memories. The trees at the Kaminski house are majestic. I wanted all of the decor that we brought in to feel as natural as the decor that had been growing there for hundreds of years. We really did not want to have a tent interrupt that scenery, so we buried a bottle of burbon upside down at the ceremony venue in southern tradition for good weather on our wedding day. We dug it up following the ceremony and shared it with the bridal party. The weather was perfect, so it seemed to have worked
