Hotel Domestique Wedding
Hotel Domestique Wedding.
Camille and Ryan have to be one of my most favorite couples. They have to be some of the nicest people I have met and had the opportunity to work with.
When Camille first inquired about their date I knew I had to shoot this wedding after she told me their venue. You look at pictures and you would never think this hidden gem is located right here in South Carolina. The mountains provided the most excellent backdrop as the two shared jokes and referenced their favorite movie quotes (most were.. wait for it.. Wedding Crasher quotes.) Everyone was laughing as you can see in the pictures.
Camille and Ryan are the epitome of a loving couple. When he moves, so does she. They both have such huge hearts, and I hope that we get to share their love story.

Q: Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette? Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?
A: Our inspiration for our wedding was to really focus on us as a couple and our love/devotion to each other. We wanted it to be a weekend to relax, have fun with those we love the most, and celebrate. Colors: light/natural green, cream, blush, peach, navy.Spiritual:-We aren't too religious so we did a kissing/blessing of the rings at the ceremony
Q: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal. A: We met at the Berkshire Apartment Complex in Charlotte within a month of moving into our apartments. Our first interaction was on the elevator- Ryan asked if he could help carry my vacuum. I politely declined. Then I saw him again at the pool and we started talking. The rest is history! We went to Mexico for a friends wedding in 10.2018. Ryan had pretended we had a wine tasting event he had signed us up for; Honestly, I was less than enthused. We are in Mexico-Bring on the tequila! Anyway, we rushed to get ready. I was asking him to take pictures on the beach with me but he had picked out the perfect spot for his proposal and had a photographer waiting at sunset (she was hiding of course). He got down on one knee as I was attempting to get another picture by a tree because my romper matched the flowers... then BOOM! We were engaged. Super cool : )
Q: What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day? A: Seeing Ryan at end of heli pad
Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day? A: Be Spoken (Shannon Pruitt) was amazing and truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Shannon to any friend, family, etc. I want to have another wedding marrying Ryan just to have Shannon back in our lives frequently!
