Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?

A: One bit of wedding planning advice that I would give, is to plan for the day AFTER the wedding. We were so focused on the actual wedding day and day before the wedding, we didn’t bother to make any plans or organize what was going to happen the following day. To be honest, the day after our wedding was chaos. It was pretty hilarious but I would definitely tell brides and grooms to make plans and organize the day after. A little marriage advice from us would be to cherish every moment and grow every day. Drew and I appreciate the times we get to spend together and try to make them the best. Even when we are really tired from work and a busy hard week, we make an effort to be present with each other and make our time special, even if we are just sitting on our porch or cleaning around the house. Drew and I are also constantly making goals for ourselves in how to improve ourselves and how to improve as a couple. It’s been really incredible and encouraging. I also have been wearing the earrings that I wore on my wedding day when I go to other weddings. It is fun to still wear something that resembles such an important day while celebrating another friend or family member's wedding. It also lets Drew and I reminisce about our perfect, gorgeous day.
