Q: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
A: Troy and I met 20 years ago twice. It was destined for us to be husband and wife lol! We dated for 1 year before parting ways for 10 years to only be reunited and been in love every since. My proposal was very intimate and unexpected. Troy had already planned on proposing to me on New Years day. So we were supposed to go downtown to a festival but I was sick battling an upper respiratory infection but he was not going to let that ruin his proposal or what would be my special day. We watched the count down and at 12 am sharp he got on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I could not talk because I had lost my voice all i could do was cry. He was not sure if i accepted his proposal or not so i had to shake my head yes! It was the best proposal ever!
Q: What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?
A: The most anticipated moment was the moment we both said "I Do"! We have been living for that very moment when we would become husband and wife.
Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?
A: Yes I would tell any bride to enjoy the moment and be a bride-to-be. Enjoy your fiance and take time for each other. The wedding process can take over your life but you have to maintain a good balance between the two and never loose focus on the reason you are having a wedding anyways!
