A Charleston Bridal Session
A Charleston Bridal Session.
Inspiration Story: The bride, Marissa, currently lives in Colorado. While she adores her current home state, she was desperately looking for a change in scenery. She was looking for something warmer, softer and just a touch Southern. Charleston was the ideal spot for what she was looking for. We wanted to provide Marissa with a bridal session that was artistic, modern but was still approachable - the ultimate Southern aesthetic. Combining modern elements and Southern elements can be tricky, but done right can be absolutely breathtaking. We loved the yellow tone of the William Aiken House - perfectly Southern with so much history. The venue paired with the bride’s sleek ponytail and modern dress gave the shoot that high end feel and perfectly balanced the entire session.
From Stylist, Tristan Needham: Marissa's soft features and clean / minimalist aesthetic paired perfectly with the soft tones and crisp architecture and of Charleston’s William Aiken House in Charleston. The simple lines of the bride Sarah Seven gown, fresh hair style, minimal ring / invitation suite, and stunning floral seemed to fit together seamlessly.
